What type of stair lift will work in my home?

There are two main types of rail systems for stair lifts, straight and curved. If you have a platform or 90 degree turn in your steps then you might need a curve. If it’s a straight set of stairs then a standard stair lift will work. These stair lift are also available in outdoor units as well.

How does a stair lift fit on my stairs?

Don't worry.  Stair Lifts almost always fit. This is one of the biggest misconceptions about stair lifts. Stair lifts are mounted on the staircase, not the wall. You typically have around four brackets that mount to your stairs.

What’s the cost of a stair lift?

A straight stair lift under 16 foot depending on the brand is around $3,000.00 to $5,000.00. A Curve stair lift can be anywhere from $11,000.00-$20,0000.00. Most people decide to install two straight stair lifts instead of one curve due to the cost.

We offer outdoor stair lifts that are weather proof.

What type of seats are available on a stair lift?

Some of the manufacturers make a wide seat and they also have a Heavy Duty model. The standard weight for most Stair Lifts are 300 LBS, then they go to 350 LBS to 600 LBS. There is also a Perch Seat Stair lift available for someone who can’t completely sit all the way down.
